To help preserve the existing natural condition of a property we often recommend developing a parcel under a “cluster” design which allows for smaller home sites with less roadway to maintain, and preserving open space within the property for everyone to enjoy.

The process of getting approvals on a land development plan requires working with many local and state agencies. Many cities and towns have strict policies on development that often places tight restrictions on a developer. Our team of professional engineers works closely with town officials and planning boards to obtain their input on a proposed development prior to submitting preliminary plans for review.

Residential Land Development

The process of getting land that is approved for residential development can be quite complex. The Bristol Pacific team can coordinate everything including perimeter surveying, wetland flagging by botanists, soil analyses, water table evaluations, zoning regulation reviews, drainage calculations, land planning, road construction, bonding, and landscape architecture. For those who are inexperienced in this process, taking raw land to a finished, ready home site can be daunting, not to mention the significant expenditures at the beginning.

Since 1989, we have developed several projects ranging in size from three home sites to 89 home sites in the South Coast area including Lincoln Park Place, Woodlyn Estates, Trout Pond Acres, Meadowbrook Farms, Oak Ridge Estates, Forest Park in Westport, Hall Estates in New Bedford, Highland Farms in Fall River and Swansea Woods.
